5月27日，中天科技海缆有限公司自主研发的±210kV超高压交联聚乙烯绝缘直流海缆(含两个直流终端和一个工厂软接头¬)和直流陆缆(含两个直流终端和一个工厂软接头¬)首批取得国家电线电缆质量监督检验中心出具的全套型式试验报告。
中天科技海缆有限公司委托国家电线电缆质量监督检验中心对±200kV直流电缆进行了张力盘绕和张力拉伸机械试验、温度循环耐压试验、叠加操作及雷电冲击试验、光学试验、阻水试验、结构检测等全性能型式试验，电缆系统各项性能指标完全满足国际大电网CIGRE TB 496-2012和TICW 7-2012技术规范的要求，达到了国际同类产品的领先水平,是目前国内唯一一家同时取得±210kV直流海缆和直流陆缆系统型式试验报告的厂家。
试验系统中的工厂软接头和现场软接头均由中天科技海缆有限公司制作完成，通过型式试验的直流陆缆含现场软接头是亮点技术——目前国内唯一。为完全模拟施工现场恶劣的施工环境，我公司技术人员在阴雨天条件下在电缆试验场地外完成软接头制作。工厂软接头的研发成功可满足直流海缆连续上百公里的生产需要；现场软接头开发试验成功为直流工程直流陆缆现场施工接续提供了一种可靠选择。中天科技海缆有限公司可以为VSC柔性直流输电工程电缆传输线路提供海底电缆、海缆软接头、陆上电缆、陆缆现场接头、电缆终端的整体解决方案。
超高压XLPE绝缘光纤复合直流海底电缆和直流陆上电缆是柔性直流输电工程重要的装备之一,主要用于大功率远距离海底输电，以及非周期运行的风力发电、潮汐发电等新能源交流系统之间的并网连接，其电气性能优越，运行温度高，不存在漏油老化缺陷，对周围环境影响小。与高压交流海缆相比较，直流海缆具有线路造价低、损耗小、传输距离长、系统稳定性高、短路电流小等优点。研制成功的±210kV直流电缆，导体截面为1000mm2，双极最大传输功率可达500MVA。
