以前的UL认证电线如果是要求屋外用及防水的话，就要用QMTT2的料。我们曾经用过东莞佳申的。现在UL已经取消了此规定，只要你电线的稳定性试验和电容率试验符合UL要求。详情可咨询南京UL中心或广州UL中心。但是江苏的UL水平在电线行业是不怎么行的！

如果要做UL1275的认证，则明确提出要用到QMTT2且是符合TW类型的，

QMTT2 是一种特殊胶料的CCN，CCN指的是产品目录，每个UL标准下面，都有对应的CCN，比如UL758电子线，对应的CCN就是AVLV2，UL62软线对应的CCN是ZJCZ等等。

QMTT2本身是没意思的，它只是一种材料UL定义的名称，就像人的名字。具体好像是具有较好防水，耐候性的PVC材料。以前做UL62的户外线均要求用有QMTT2认证的材料。
