Insulation

Inner layer: Extruded TFE, PFA, FEP, cellular PE, or solid PE with or without irradiation, 2 mil minimum at any point; or Cellular TFE tape wrap, one or more layers, overall insulation thickness 2 mil minimum at any point. Outer layer: (Optional) Polyester tape, overall thickness 0.2 mil minimum at any point applied with 25 percent overlap and heat sealed.

Assembly

Insulated conductor with optional inner shield, jacket, optional outer shield and optional outer jacket.

Shield

Both inner and outer shield are Optional.

Jacket

Inner jacket - Spirally wrapped, two or more layers of polyester, ETFE, TFE, Cellular TFE, or composite tape, each layer applied with 25 percent overlap (minimum) and heat sealed. Overall thickness minimum 0.2 mil at any point, or extruded PFA, FEP, or PVDF, 1 mil minimum at any point. Outer jacket - (optional) the same as inner jacket.
