1．可燃性分类
对于可燃性分类被定义为5个等级，S1-S5，地面材料分为SF1-SF3三个等级。
从S2到S5这四个可燃性等级通过DIN 54837（气体火焰测试）规定，通过这个测试也能评价烟的发展和熔滴。
S1类被DIN 53438 (第1-3部分)（可燃性材料测试；小火焰点燃性；火焰在表面上的传播）规定。
DIN EN ISO 9239-1地面材料燃烧反应：测试SF1-SF3的等级要求。
