Six samples of Cat. No. SY-18 molded on Flexible Cords as tabulated above were placed in series and the blades of each sample shorted by a 14 AWG bare copper conductor (solid) to form a series circuit. Current was adjusted in circuit to the above specify test current using a low-voltage ac source and was allowed to operate until temperatures stabilized (minimum of 4 h). Thermocouples were used to record temperatures on blades.
