Jack 是插头，或是PLUG 也可以（公的）MALE

SOCKET是插座，或是sheath也可以（母的）FEMALE

不要和JACKET混淆，它是外被的意思。

所以我認為是外被的意思但是肯定會有別的叫法的

JACK是母頭.PLUG是公頭.插頭里面都是這樣區分的.

比於DC,電話頭.還有RCA這些....
